He holds a BA from Portland State University in English and Creative Writing and is a Writer/Director for film. He's completed three feature-length screenplays, is a published poet, teaches theatre, co-heads Hand2Mouth's media committee and is currently working on how to transfer the immediacy of a live theatre event into the medium of film. He is so happy to have found a beautiful community in Hand2Mouth.

Jeb Pearson has had an on again, off again affair with Theater since he was a child. Eventually his curiosity got the better of him and he wandered off to other mediums for what seemed like good. His experience as a filmmaker finally led him back to live performance, and he was drafted into the Sowelu Ensemble in 2004. Having witnessed several Hand2mouth pieces, he was quite excited to join them for their collaboration with Polish Director Luba Zarembiska in From a Dream to a Dream. Continuing on with Repeat After Me, he is convinced that he has now found a second home to play in. A workaholic by nature, he remains a core member at Sowelu where his duties include Performance, Stage and Media Design. He is currently in pre-production for Sowelu's filming of Luke Heyerman's The Hero and is producing the VAT: Very American Theater series at Portland Community Media (a video showcase for new theater works). In his spare time, Jeb keeps busy as a cartoonist. Poor Traits, a collection of his single-panel work, is slated for release through Prehensile Pictures.
