Undine
A lonely water creature finds a microphone. Get ready for “electro-sorceress of sound” Faith Helma and her electro song cycle. Lush melodies, live loops and thunderous beats cast an eerie spell, and an enchanted girl lost between night and the dawn of day sings her heart out.

PRESS
“Things got off to a spooky start with ‘Undine’ by Faith Helma, who proved to be an electro-sorceress of sound as she told the tale of a water-nymph having a rough time on land. – Michael Upchurch, Seattle Times, May 2008
“Helma’s work brought me into her fairy tale world with both beauty and anguish.” – Sabine Foster, On the Boards blog, May 2008
“Spiriting ourselves away to the Pearl, we walked into the dark wonderland that is The Someday Lounge, and stumbled on the real highlight of the evening in the form of a one woman show by Faith Helma of Hand2Mouth Theatre, a performance that is utterly hard to describe. 1/2 play, 1/2 music, based loosely on a fairy tale by Baron de la Motte…. It was awesome.” - Ten Second Buzz (music blog), June 2008.
“Helma is a riveting performer.”- Alison Hallett, Portland Mercury, February 2009
“Twee? Anything but. Helma has a lovely voice and a quiet demeanor, but she vamps, crawls and thrashes her way through the one-hour show with terrifying intensity, whipping her hair about and abusing the furniture. Half electro-pop concert and half creepy soliloquy, this strange and affecting show has only a one-weekend run. Catch it now.”- Ben Waterhouse, Willamette Week, February 2009
