Hand2Mouth returned to Addis Ababa in December 2023 to collaborate again with Ethiopian theatre artists after a series of creative workshops co-led with the Ethiopian hosts in 2022. For the 2023 project, a group of university students and professional theatre artists (most who took part in the 2022 exchange) rehearsed and devised a new full length performance. The piece explored the young adults' ideas on the power of authentic connection, interviews, listening, and investigation to cut through false information, misunderstandings and prejudices. 

The piece premiered at the Ethiopian National Theater and then toured to the historic regional capital cities of Dire Dawa and Adama.  Each community reflective performance included a post-show community conversation. The multilingual play combined Amharic, English, and Oromiffa languages.
