2024 / 2025 Season

This season Hand2Mouth is explored the banned book epidemic in the U.S. with a focus on the lives and stories of Oregonians. Activities included workshops, community events and investigation, and thematic inspiration for all our works this season, including 24H2M, our annual Youth Devising Residency production, and a new devised work that premiered in Portland for a public run in Spring 2025 called BANNED. The season was a celebration of defiance in the face of pressure to ban certain lives and lifestyles and histories and cultures.
