Hand2Mouth was invited to the Partners for the Americas annual conference, with the theme ‘What Works’, in Lima, Peru to lead a seminar. PftA has been active for over 60 years, focusing on people-to-people collaborations and connections in the Americas. The gathering brought educators, civil society leaders and artists from across the Western Hemisphere to Peru, to share trainings and approaches to intercultural exchange.

H2M’s International Programs Director Jonathan Walters partnered with Peruvian artists Sara Parades and Paola Ramirez, who had earlier collaborated with H2M in a 2022 exchange in Lima, to lead the session.  The exchange showcased the theatre’s signature ‘Dialogue and Difference’ method of using theatre and storytelling to create dialogue and connection, and revisited the 2022 Peruvian collaboration and its outcomes.
